Ingredients
1 cup basmati rice
2 cups water or broth
1 tbsp butter or olive oil
1 tbsp mixed dried herbs (or fresh parsley/cilantro)
Salt & pepper
Directions
- Rinse rice. In a pot, melt butter/oil and add rice; stir briefly.
- Add water/broth and salt; bring to boil. Cover and simmer on low 12–15 min.
- Fluff with fork and mix in herbs and pepper.
